August is usually one of the quietest months of the year and based on our market experience this month, we expect a slowdown of listings and sales when the August data comes out. While the underlying economic dynamics continue to impact both buyers and sellers alike, there is one big exception. In our area, properties of $5M and above have been quite active. | Sponsored by Santa Clara County and largely funded by Meta's $25 million grant, the 110-unit educator housing development will house teachers and classified and part-time employees who work in the Los Altos, Mountain View Whisman and Foothill-De Anza Community College school districts. The housing development located at 231 Grant Avenue in Palo Alto is expected to be completed by late 2025. The development aims to attract and retain high-quality teachers in the Bay Area, helping them live in the communities they serve so they are not subject to long commutes and are more available to the students and families of their districts. |
