Still, we are now likely seeing a shift from a seller's market to a buyer's market, meaning there may soon be more inventory and pricing adjustments. Like always, however, a desirable home priced well will sell for top dollar, but this shift will impact the market.
If you've been waiting for the right time to buy, now might be the perfect moment to act. Mortgage rates are at a six-month low, boosting your purchasing power. We are also now seeing many more homes with price drops and Buyers with more negotiating power. Currently, 35% of homes on the market in the US have seen price drops, the highest percentage in April over the last decade. With the tariffs, this trend might continue.
For sellers, it's crucial to navigate this market shift strategically.
