It's Old News: Housing data and insights are often outdated and at times, distorted in the media.

What's New:  The greater Seattle area housing market significantly caught fire again since the start of the year. We have seen a dramatic increase in people touring homes and making offers on those homes.

By the numbers: 
December 2022 to January 2023 Inventory FELL 11.6%
December 2022 to January 2023 Pending Sales ROSE 50.9%
Absorption Rate from December 2022 to February 2023 JUMPED 68.5%

Bottom Line: Inventory continues to be strained, sales are increasing significantly, mortgage rates rising, and all cash sales are still a thing. Great for sellers, trickier for buyers.
