| | The Fall Equinox tomorrow not only brings the promise of colorful visual changes across Colorado’s Rocky Mountains but also a bold auditory change. It’s rut time in Rocky Mountain National Park and from now until at least mid-October the bugles and clashing antlers of horny, territorial bull elk fill the Kawuneeche Valley. With the chance to see and hear hundreds of elk gathering for their breeding season, it’s a sight to behold and a great way to ring in autumn. |
