Dow Rises to Close at Fresh Record, S&P 500 Hits All-Time High Earlier on Friday, the S&P 500 broke above 5,100 for the first time. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 62.42 points, or 0.16%, also reaching a fresh record and closing at an all-time high of 39,131.53. Sundays are for SonDays! Every weekend, I love taking my son out for some fun father-son activities. Whether it is going to a new restaurant, seeing a movie, or helping me host an open house (because he's old enough to do that now!). Watching him grow up has truly been the biggest joy of my life.
