| | The Fed was predicted to drop rates something like 18 times this year. They didn't. While some buyers are sidelined waiting for the drastic drop, others are picking up homes at great prices and terms with little competition now. If and when rates come back down under 6%, there will likely be a release of ALOT of pent up demand, and we will see price increases. In 1971, rates were at 7.5%. They didn't go down until 1993. In that timeframe, home values quadrupled. Moral: Don't wait to buy real estate. Buy real estate and wait! |
