| | Sometimes luxury is about blending in rather than standing out, and these 16 homes on the coast of Washington’s Governor’s Point are designed to do just that. Designed by Omer Arbel using discarded cedar trunks tumbled into orbs, the coast-facing facade will begin to blend into the surrounding landscape as it ages, silvers and moss begins to grow. The homes are all intended to have minimal impact on the ecology of the area and become a part of the preserve and allow visitors by land or sea to appreciate the beauty of Washington’s Pacific coast. |

| | The Aurora Borealis Festival isn’t the only thing going on this weekend, tonight is Denver’s Night at The Museums, a completely free night for 17 of the area’s museums from 5pm to 10pm. There’s an impressive lineup including the Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Dinosaur Ridge to quench your thirst for knowledge, and shuttles to help you hit as many stops as you’d like. Tonight, November 2nd, is the only night for this so save on admissions while you can! |
