$350M Redesign of Fifth Avenue
The plan to transform Fifth Avenue between Bryant Park and Central Park calls for reducing the number of traffic lanes from five to three, nearly doubling the size of the sidewalks, shortening crosswalks, and adding greenery and lighting to create a world-class boulevard emblematic of the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
