Stocks Cap Another Winning Month, S&P 500 Logs Best May Since 2003

Most U.S. stocks rose Friday after a report showed inflation is at least not worsening, but drops for some big technology stocks kept indexes in check. The major indexes all broke records for the month. The S&P and Nasdaq posted their best May performances since 2003. And the Dow saw its best May since 2020.

More NYC Rentals Are Available

The number of available rentals in New York City grew to 30,314 in April, up nearly 5 percent since last April. That’s good news for prospective renters, but it’s still way down from the 41,123 available in April 2019 and not nearly enough to rectify a shortage that has been decades in the making, according to a new report from StreetEasy.
