INVENTORY CONSTRAINTS RELAX
|
Available inventory remains one of the largest constraints on market activity. In recent months, inventory increased as more existing homeowners look to tap into substantial home equity. As the number of listings increases, the market may become more aligned with historical norms. This may alleviate some of the stress buyers face when searching for the right home to buy. Despite the increase in listings, the average time spent on the market decreased, indicating strong buyer demand.

The wharf remained the center of operations for San Francisco's fishing fleet until the 1970s.
