While we suffer from low inventory of housing in many areas in the US, China is experiencing the exact opposite: China is considering a proposal to have local governments across the country buy millions of unsold homes after decades of OVER-building, in what would be its most ambitious attempts to salvage the beleaguered property market. National News
The consumer-price index, a gauge for goods and service costs across the U.S. economy, rose 3.4% in April from a year ago, down from 3.5% in March. Core prices that exclude volatile food and energy items climbed 3.6% annually, the lowest increase since April 2021. Furniture prices were down 3.8% and appliances 5.9%. Auto insurance was up 22% fueled mostly by repair costs and weather-related claims.

What started in 2011 as a single rooftop in London has expanded globally with two rooftop venues in the UK and seven across the US in Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Houston, Chicago, Miami and Fort Worth. I've been every year since it opened in NY and will be heading back at least once this summer.
