The Fed’s Latest Interest Rate Decision Could Affect a Housing Market Near ‘Breaking Point’
Fed policymakers now expect to make just one rate cut by the end of this year, according to projections released by the central bank. Bond markets don’t view a cut as likely until the Fed’s September meeting at the earliest, when traders price in a 64% probability of lower rates, according to the CME FedWatch Tool.

The zoo was shuttered for 8 months after it suffered severe damage to its facilities and infrastructure during Tropical Storm Ophelia last September. The 12-acre zoo was essentially underwater and close to $6.5M has been spent to date to reopen. None of the zoo’s animals were harmed during the flooding. BROOKLYN PAPER has the story.

NYPD Will Deploy Drones to Respond to 911 Calls in 5 NYC Precincts
The NYPD will outfit precinct rooftops with drone platforms. Deputy Commissioner of Operations Kaz Daughtry dubbed the pilot program “drones as first responders,” adding that drones would respond to “certain” 911 calls, though he did not specify for which emergency situations they might be used.
