A Note From Melissa

June started off busy as ever.  The school year came to an end and I watched my nephew graduate high school with a committment to join NYU in the fall.  This auntie couldn't be more proud.  Now I'm ready for swim parties, backyard BBQs, mini vacations and hopefully a boost in housing inventory!

What I'm seeing In The Market

I've definitely noticed a shift in the real estate market starting the week after Mother's Day. There's been a noticeable drop in the number of homes available, and it feels like there are fewer buyers as well. Homes that used to attract multiple offers now often receive just one, and some are even selling at or slightly below their list price. However, updated and move-in-ready homes are still seeing multiple offers and selling above the list price.
In this shifting market, having a knowledgeable agent is more important than ever. An experienced agent can do the research necessary to help you write the most competitive offer without overpaying. Despite the changes, it's still a seller's market. If you're thinking about selling, contact me to ensure your home is priced and marketed accurately so you don't leave any money on the table.
