After the large decline from late October, mortgage interest rates have been fluctuating within a relatively narrow range of values in 2024. The significant macroeconomic improvements in interest rates, financial markets, and consumer confidence are also driving a recovery in the housing market. This is now beginning to show up across a wide variety of indicators as we move into the spring selling season, typically the most active of the year.
