Manhattan market tips in buyers’ favor

After three long years of buying homes sight-unseen, waving due diligence and generally being subject to the whims of sellers, buyers again have the upper hand in Manhattan’s residential market.
September was the best month for buyers since pandemic lockdowns hit that market in the spring of 2020, according to a report from UrbanDigs. “If you’re a buyer, you really have been waiting for this for a couple years,” Walkup said. “You’ve got a decent amount of choice and you’ve got the market to yourself.”

NYC’s Legendary Delmonico’s Steakhouse Finally Reopened 

Since 1837, Delmonico’s has presented à la carte menus that reflect iconic dishes that have stood the test of time. Today, the menu is a gastronomic celebration of Delmonico’s past, present and future.
Edward J. Hong, of Michelin-starred ilk, has been named the executive chef of Delmonico’s. The chef brings new dishes to the restaurant’s menu, long known for its prime beef and French influences, including sea urchin and abalone risotto and Myung Ran Caesar salad. As a nod to Delmonico’s culinary heritage, Hong will also offer interpretations of American classics invented at the iconic eatery, such as its 18-ounce Delmonico steak, Baked Alaska, Lobster Newberg and Chicken a la Keene. The menu also includes something more modern but no less decadent: a prime dry-aged, bone-in ribeye topped with uni butter. 
Delmonico’s is frequently billed as America’s first restaurant. Now, it is reborn again.
