Once a lifeline for a geographically isolated city, Denver’s Union Station was built in 1881 to handle 10,000 passengers daily. In 1902, depot police began enforcing a “no kissing” rule on platforms because “it slows down the trains!” World War II passenger traffic swelled almost to gridlock with 24,000 people a day. The station was always in motion with arriving and departing tourists, business travelers, troops, theatrical companies, and immigrants. As the City changed over the past 150 years, Union Station has continued to be a living part of Denver history and an ever evolving hub for travelers and adventurers. If you haven’t been there in awhile, it is worth a visit! Dine, shop, stay or travel and experience this historic and cultural destination in the heart of downtown.

Coloradoans LOVE their sports!! And Denver has certainly had its fair share of legendary, ridiculously successful, hall of fame worthy, exceptionally skilled players call the arenas and stadiums of this city ‘home’. The ballers of our beloved Denver Nuggets, reigning 2023 NBA Champions, are back in the playoffs! Round 1 vs LA Lakers is happening this Monday. Best of luck team!
