 "With the holidays behind us and interest rates leveling off (and in some cases coming down just a bit), we are seeing a lot more buying activity on the island.  Clearly the demand to be in Sea Isle is still high as the island only gets better each and every year with capital improvements, beach replenishment plans and new businesses popping up.

The challenge for buyers remains to be a lack in inventory.  As of today, there are only 13 units for sale under $999,999 and only 6 units for sale from $1,000,000 - $1,700,000!  This has created an excellent selling opportunity for homeowners with properties valued in this segment of the Sea Isle City market.  Call me if you are a homeowner who is interested in selling and we can talk more about it"

Mike Jamison's Mortgage Minute

Mortgage rates have gone down as noted by Sam Khater, Freddie Mac’s Chief Economist.. “Mortgage rates continue to tick down and, as a result, home purchase demand is thawing from the months-long freeze that gripped the housing market. Some markets experts expect the US Federal Reserve (Fed) to raise rates again on February 1st , probably .25 percentage points. That would be the lowest increase since 3/17/2022. Fingers crossed!

Details:  This year the date for Run Walk for Autism 5K Run/1 Mile Family Fun Walk is on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at JFK and the Boardwalk, 12:00 noon start. Proceeds benefit Special Services Schools, Autism Support Groups, Families of Special Needs Children, and Autism Speaks.This unique event encourages runners and walkers of all ages to participate with their families, while supporting a worthwhile cause. 

Please review the event application for prize details for both men and women in the various age classifications for the 5K run. The walk is a non-competitive event. Then join us in the HUGE HEATED tents outside Excursion Park for Live Music, an Awards Ceremony, Door-Prizes, and Magicians and Face Painting for the Kids!  All while enjoying a large Buffet consisting of: Bagels, Donuts, Pastries, Soft Pretzels, Fruit and Drinks. All Pre-Registered participants will receive a custom t-shirt and are entered into the Door Prize Give-Away. Day of Race Shirts Available while supplies last.All team members must signup by Wednesday, February 15, 2023 @ 5pm.  (Pre-registered teams with 8 or more participants.)
