Chicago, IL  – January 5, 2025 – Compass, Inc. (NYSE: COMP), the largest residential real estate brokerage in the United States and a leading tech-enabled real estate services company,  announces that industry veterans Charlie Cohen and Alex Morsch have joined the firm to launch a team called Cohen Morsch. The five-agent team brings more than $57.5 million in annual sales and a long track record of success across Chicago. 

Widely respected throughout Chicagoland, Cohen and Morsch are known for closing hundreds of transactions, ranging from apartment leases to multi-million-dollar homes, and for their development work. At Compass, the team will focus on brokering add-value opportunities, with a specialization in vintage, architecturally significant, multifamily, and investment properties.

Before joining Cross Street, Cohen spent more than a decade at Ridgetree Properties, where he focused on private capital and add-value residential investments. Known for his sharp market insight and extensive network, Cohen has long been a trusted advisor to developers, investors, and consumers.

Joining Cohen is Alex Morsch, who spent seven years as a Senior Broker at Cross Street and has been instrumental in executing some of the firm’s most notable transactions, including representing the buyer of 1933 North Mohawk Street. This marquee development site sold for $5.7 million last year. 

Morsch is recognized for his analytical approach, strong client relationships, and ability to navigate complex deals with clarity and confidence.
