Rehoboth beach
A relaxing beach community with plenty of family-friendly entertainment.
Rehoboth Beach has a long history of family fun entertainment. It’s beloved boardwalk dates back to 1873 and now stretches a mile long. Throughout the year, the boardwalk is a backdrop for festivals and events, fitness competitions or just a daily stroll by foot or bike. If you’re looking for sports-related activities, you can enjoy a game of pickleball or tennis with the locals or friends in the Deauville Beach parking lot.
What to expect:
An artsy beach town with an endless supply of shops and restaurants waiting to be explored.
Rehoboth Beach is located just off Route 1 making it an easy commute from Northern Delaware. Along Rehoboth Avenue and Baltimore Avenue, you’ll find a wide variety of cuisines and restaurants including Stingray Sushi Bar, The Crushed Pearl, Dos Locos, Cafe Azafran and Delaware native Dogfish Head’s original gastropub. While only a 10 minute drive to the Tanger Outlets along Route 1, there are a handful of independent retailers that sit along Rehoboth Avenue including the Sea Shell Shop, Valhalla, Quiet Storm Surf Shop, and Sea Finds.
The lifestyle:
Plenty of activities to suit your way of life.
In Rehoboth Beach you’ll find art galleries, boutiques, independent breweries, and cafes. The vibrant nightlife scene replaces the causal shopping and sandy relaxation upon sunset at Diego’s Bar, G Rehoboth, and Rigby’s. In Rehoboth Beach, there is always something to suit your lifestyle.
Unexpected appeal:
A world beyond the summer holidays and vacation.
Despite being known for its sandy beaches and eventful summers, Rehoboth Beach has so much to offer throughout the year and away from the water. Admire the wetlands and the dunes of Gordon’s Pond as they offer picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a brewery or winery tour throughout the year with Delmarva Discovery Tours as they showcase the best of Southern Delaware’s beer, wine and spirits offerings. Take part in the Winter WonderFest in Rehoboth Beach and participate in the various games and activities. There is so much to do in Rehoboth Beach without even going to the beach.
The market:
Your choice of charming traditional bungalows or modern new construction.
While the majority of the homes along the boardwalk are beach bungalows and colorful colonials, just outside of downtown Rehoboth Beach are plenty of new construction neighborhoods, many with golf courses and other amenities. These nearby neighborhoods are highly desirable and offer resort style living. Backing right onto the Junction & Breakwater Trail, many homes have easy access for walking or biking from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes.
You'll fall in love with:
Quaint cafes and restaurants, art galleries, and the relaxed energy.
The wide side streets are a peaceful respite from the busy main street. Take a breath of fresh air from the ocean and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere surging through Rehoboth Beach. Relax on the beach or take a walk at one of the many trails during the day. There’s always something to do in this picturesque beach town.
