I am a local FL broker and bought this unit for myself for the following reasons... It's less than 3 stories which is very beneficial in Florida currently given all the new regulations. It was built in 1970 with concrete block and is a very solid well built structure. It sits on the perfect place on the island to avoid traffic and get on and off the island easy while still being close enough to walk to the beach, the grocery store and so many restaurants and bars and almost anything you need including the free trolley. You don't have to have a vehicle here just a golf cart if you desire. Community has a kayak launch and storage, a heated pool, fire-it gathering area, tennis and pickleball. If you are aware of the amount of time and extensive cost involved these days to get any renovations done including the crazy cost of materials then you will appreciate that these things have already been done for you: kitchen, some plumbing, new faucets, hurricane rated windows and sliders, HVAC, hot water heater, stackable LG large capacity washer and dryer, cove moulding, baseboard, solid wood bedroom doors, sliding door to entrance closet, new ceiling fans and lighting, paint, flooring resurfaced to name some of the expense and time you will be free of. The unit has a large storage unit in the mudroom area as well for all of your outdoor equipment and bikes etc. I think if you come see this property you will fall in love not only with the million dollar view but the location and the community. Don't pass up your shot at this amazing piece of real estate in one of the most beautiful zip codes in all of America. Community had minimal wind damage from trees and a few broken pieces of furniture at the pool. Great location for future living on this island.
