The charming porch is the first thing you notice as you approach the house, it faces south overlooking the beautiful tree-lined street and Fulton Park.
In 2014, this brick filled wood-frame house was meticulously renovated. As you enter the house into the vestibule on the parlor floor, you will see to the right that the living room, dining room and kitchen are fluidly connected to make one continuous space for great entertaining. The renovation was done carefully, taking care to leave the Greek Revival and Italianate features the builder incorporated. These include, the crown moldings on the ceiling and walls and most of the original tin ceilings. There are also two marble fireplace mantels, one of which is located in the living room and the other in the dining room. The floors throughout are made from reclaimed oak. The two full bathrooms are both white with Carrara tiles. The kitchen has white cabinetry with a Viking range, a Sub Zero refrigerator, an island and good storage.
Beyond the dining room, at the back of the house is a large den/bedroom that exits out to a blue stone patio in the garden. This room currently functions as a den and guest room and has a full ensuite bathroom. The windows are large and overlook pretty views of the lawn, a Magnolia tree, and three maturing White Crepe Myrtle trees planted by the owner. The kitchen also has access to the garden allowing for privacy if guests are staying. The garden is large enough to enjoy barbecues, parties and quiet enjoyment. On the second floor of the house, at the top of the stairs, is a full bathroom along with three bedrooms.
