Program Manager, Inventory Strategy and Ops

At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we’re revolutionizing the real estate industry with our end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to seller and buyer clients.

Compass International Holdings is seeking a Program Manager of Inventory Strategy & Enablement to own the national programs that increase inventory on the platform. This role exists for one reason: agents across our ten brands should win more listing agreements, launch them through our technology platform, and do it as a matter of habit rather than a one-time campaign.

You will own the full arc, from identifying where the opportunity is, to designing the program, to piloting it in a brand and/or region, to rolling it out across every brand and making it stick. You will also own the creation and distribution of what the field actually receives: the playbooks, the talk tracks, the training, and the follow-through that turn a strategy into agent behavior.

This is a builder and operator role. You will learn from what has already worked, bring structure and rigor to scale it, and hold yourself accountable to a number. If you are energized by turning ideas into programs that move measurable inventory, this is the seat.

What You'll Own

Inventory Adoption & Portfolio Strategy

  • Contribute to and deliver the national strategy for driving inventory onto the platform across agent segments and brands, grounded in field research and discovery, not assumption
  • Design programs that create behavior change and habit formation, so agents consistently win listing agreements and launch them through Compass technology
  • Translate product capability into adoption strategy that resonates with the field, framed in agent and client value rather than feature language, across each brand
  • Manage project scopes, charters, and risk mitigation strategies across high-priority inventory growth workstreams
  • Identify where the biggest inventory unlocks sit, by brand, by region, by segment, and go after them in priority order

Program Build and National Scale

  • Own the end-to-end project lifecycle of adoption initiatives, defining key milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, and timelines from ideation to national rollout
  • Build standardized project management frameworks, governance models, playbooks, and systems to scale program delivery without linear headcount
  • Run the readiness path end-to-end for every initiative: workback schedule built and approved by the regions and Legal, assets created for each brand plus a generic version, and employees, agents, and staff trained before launch
  • Keep programs aligned to the business priorities they serve: inventory growth, agent productivity, and retention
  • Establish robust risk management and issue tracking protocols to proactively resolve project bottlenecks and dependency conflicts

Field Enablement and Standardization

  • Own the design and launch of the enablement and training that carry each program into the field, including brand-adaptable decks, talk tracks, and seller-facing collateral
  • Build frameworks that create consistency and standardization across regions and brands, while leaving room for each brand's voice
  • Partner with Academy, Coaching, and brand learning teams on development and rollout, and hold the accountability for whether the field is genuinely equipped
  • Identify operational gaps in how regional teams execute and implement scalable fixes

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at every level, from agents and regional staff to brand leadership
  • Partner with Product to align adoption strategy with the feature roadmap and release cycles
  • Work with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Communications to position tools around agent and client value
  • Serve as the connective tissue between regional teams and central functions, and translate field feedback into actionable insight for partner teams
  • Embed adoption into daily workflows and conversations with Brand Leadership, Regional Presidents, Sales Leadership, and Coaching

Performance and Insight

  • Define success metrics for every initiative and own the reporting against them
  • Use dashboards and field insight together to refine programs in flight, since neither alone tells you why something is or is not working
  • Surface patterns, gaps, and acceleration opportunities to leadership with a recommendation attached, not just a readout
  • Prepare executive-ready updates and materials that drive decisions, not just status

Influence

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to brand and regional leadership on inventory priorities
  • Influence without authority across a highly matrixed, multi-brand organization, and drive alignment and execution anyway

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in program management, strategy, operations, GTM, or enablement in a technology-driven environment
  • A track record of building and scaling programs that produced measurable behavior change, with the numbers to show it
  • Proven mastery of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid), project tracking tools, and workback schedule execution
  • PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent project management certification is a strong plus
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable defining metrics, building the tracking, and changing course when the data says so
  • Strong writer and presenter who can turn complex strategy into clear, field-ready materials and executive communications
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, especially with senior leaders who do not report to you
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and dependable follow-through on long-running initiatives
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, change, and shifting priorities across many concurrent workstreams
  • Positive, solutions-oriented, self-starting, and able to execute independently
  • Experience in real estate brokerage, SaaS, or multi-brand organizations is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of brokerage operations and the Agent Experience function is a plus
