William Hynes

William "Bill" Hynes is an experienced real estate professional in Northeast Florida. Covering areas from the revitalized and growing downtown Jacksonville region to 'The Beaches' and Saint Johns County, Bill knows the area in-and-out! 

Originally from New York, Bill grew up in Long Island where he attended the Island Trees School District and served as a Firefighter and EMT with the Levittown Fire Department. In 1999 he and his wife, Jo, moved to Denver, Colorado where he embarked on a career in Law Enforcement. Bill spent 15 years with the Denver Police Department where he was a decorated Corporal, earning two Denver Optimist Club Recognitions, City Council Recognition, three Critical Incident Awards, two Life Saving Awards, and worked in Crisis Intervention. As a Field Training Officer, he trained first-year DPD Academy graduate officers and he also served as Acting Sergeant. Off-duty he worked 13 years with the Denver Broncos security detail and was assigned to the starting quarterbacks.

In 2014, Bill retired early and the family moved to the Nocatee community in Ponte Vedra, and shortly after settled in Ponte Vedra Beach. At the same time, The Hynes Team was created. Bill and Jo had previous real estate experience with construction, renovations, investment properties and short term rentals, so choosing real estate sales for their next endeavor came naturally. Success continues as they place integrity above all else and work closely with clients to make each transaction successful and seamless.
