William Chang

William Chang joined Compass Commercial in March 2022. He started his real estate career in 2019 as an Investment Advisor with NAI Northern California working with clients in industrial, net leased and development projects. William focuses on the San Francisco Bay Area market where he is a native resident and is familiar with the landscape and trends in the Bay Area real estate market, lending to his local expertise. William helps clients identify and navigate through different investment strategies such as 1031 exchanges, equity restructuring and development opportunities.

Prior to his career in real estate, William had an extensive career as a software engineer with startups and consulting companies. William utilizes his technical background, unique problem-solving skills, and critical thinking to create value for his clients. In his free time, William enjoys snowboarding, traveling and trying out new restaurants.
