About Victoria
Victoria Ye is dedicated to providing the highest level of service expert guidance to buyers and sellers in the ever-changing New York real estate market. Her nearly two decades of experience in investment banks allows her to analyze and strategize to help you realize optimal value when it comes to making difficult and important financial decisions. Working with Victoria, you will feel a comfort confidence level that is unmatched. While she is always highly professional, she wants every buyer and seller to feel they have a loyal partner looking out for their best interest.

Victoria is a lifelong New Yorker who graduated from New York University – Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics. Her personal insights on urban living are complemented by her knowledge of real estate, having been raised in a family involved in property investment and management. Not only is she an expert in the purchase and moving process, having lived in nearly every Manhattan neighborhood; Victoria understands the complexity of emotions and unique offerings of the market as both a resident and property investor.

Prior to the real estate industry, Victoria worked with major New York finance corporations on Wall Street in the nationally #1 Ranked Institutional Investor Magazine’s Fixed Income Strategy Team and Trading Desk. Her experience encompasses strategy, research, mortgage finance, structuring, and marketing Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset Backed Securities and related Structured Products.

In addition to English, she speaks conversational Cantonese and Mandarin, which affords her the ability to work with local and domestic clients, as well as Chinese and international investors looking to buy in New York. She enjoys helping and nurturing relationships with a diverse clientele while educating them on property types and neighborhoods. Victoria herself has traveled the world extensively, plus spent time in Shanghai and Hong Kong in real estate finance, development and consulting to identify potential investment projects.

Victoria currently resides in Chelsea NY with her husband, an international Chef with whom she shares a love of dining, both in the city and across the globe. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, scuba diving, skiing and pilates.

In the third quarter, Manhattan’s residential real estate market showed resilience, even as the anticipation of lower mortgage rates temporarily held back some buyers for most of the quarter. When mortgage rates finally began to fall, reaching their lowest level in 1.5 years, buyers responded enthusiastically, positioning the market for a solid finish to the year.

Manhattan Market Insights - October 2024

Closed sales fell to 2,694 transactions, a minor 1.8% decline from Q3 2023. This decline reflects the historical slowdown ahead of a presidential election and the widespread expectation that mortgage rates would fall further. As rates began to decrease, contract activity and open house traffic jumped, but not to the levels we would have liked to have seen.
