Meet Valerie Um - a dynamic and results-driven real estate agent passionate about helping people find their dream homes. Her background in marketing and technology with corporations such as Salesforce and LinkedIn provided her with the skillsets needed to excel in being a market expert. During her free time, Valerie is a vice-chair and a member of the Year Up Bay Area Alumni Association since November 2021 and served on the board in various other capacities since graduating as an alum in January 2020. She often co-creates initiatives alongside her board members to continuously promotes community outreach, alumni communications, and bridging the opportunity divide. Aside from her passion for hospitality, Valerie has many other interests that led her to pursue real estate as a career. She has an affinity for recreating fragrant southeast Asian dishes from her childhood and demonstrating her resourceful nature. She often believes that sharing meals and recipes through her adult years has kept her in touch with her roots.
