Valerie and we started working together only a short while ago. We found a house on Zillow on a Friday afternoon and contacted her based on a friend's recommendation. We met the next day at 9am to check out four properties she lined up for us only the night before. She was very knowledgeable about the pros and cons about all of them which sealed the deal for us in deciding to work with her. She immediately understood our time pressure to buy and worked with us very efficiently. She was always very generous with her time and also always very understanding of our personal circumstances. As first time buyers, we weren't well informed about the local market or about the buying process. She taught us a lot in a very short period of time. We had long virtual and phone meetings to go over everything very carefully when meeting in person wasn't possible. She also accommodated all of our requests and worked very hard to deliver the best result even in short periods of time. She always went above and beyond to get us the best deal. Also she is very knowledgeable about the area in Maryland where we bought. Once we got our offer accepted, she sent us recommendations for local service providers to help ease our transition. Even after closing, she has been following up to see how we are getting on with our renovation preparations. Valerie is always very willing to help her clients. She is also very responsive, attentive and friendly... Oh by the way, we found a wonderful house within the first two weeks of starting to work with her. It wouldn't have been possible without her. If anyone is looking for an agent that will become a part of their family to get them the best deal and always be there for them, that's Valerie. Don't even think twice!

"Valerie did a great job for us! We were first-time home buyers looking for a single family home in Silver Spring. Valerie did an excellent job putting together a competitive offer—which beat another offer!—and negotiating our home inspection. Valerie got the seller to fix quite a bit, and she followed through to make sure that the work was done correctly and before the closing! She also recommended a great contractor to refinish the hardwood floors and paint the inside of our house. In addition, Valerie got the title company to give us the re-issue rate, saving us money on the title insurance. We are so excited to move in! Thank you, Valerie!"

"We highly recommend Valerie who is a very reliable and trustworthy professional. She did a great job for us, first time home buyers looking for a single family home in Bethesda. Valerie has been extremely responsive and conscientious throughout our home search. She pursued our interests very well, provided many useful advice and helped us to navigate the complexities of Bethesda's market. Thanks to Valerie we found just « the right house » within our neighborhood and budget criterion while the inventory was very low. Valerie is an excellent negotiator. She also has several useful contacts. We are French so we really appreciated to speak both French and English with Valerie "

"I cannot thank Valerie enough or recommend her more highly! She not only helped me find the exact house I was looking for, but also helped me navigate the complexities of a super competitive sellers market. She was super patient, persistent and fun to be with, as we searched for the "needle in the haystack" in Crestwood, 16th Street Heights, and Brightwood in DC. I was looking for an older bungalow with a yard, but not too big and definitely not too renovated or too expensive and so.....we saw a lot of homes. Valerie also sent out targeted mailers in those specific neighborhoods based on my search criteria and budget. When we found the "just right" house, Valerie persisted and as a result of her advice and efforts, we beat out 15 other offers to get the house! Then Valerie continued to work beyond the closing, ensuring that the landscaping which had become unkempt between showing and closing, was freshened up before I moved in. If you want to find that "just right" house and have a chance of actually getting it, I recommend you call Valerie as soon as possible! "

"We worked with Valerie in a very competitive DC market, where inventory was really low and properties don’t stay on market long. We were looking for a one-bedroom condo with a parking space in several DC neighborhoods, such as Logan, Shaw/U Street, and Mount Vernon Triangle. Valerie was able to get us into a condo unit that was not yet on market. We would not have gotten our condo without Valerie’s perseverance, determination, and contacts! We also appreciated that Valerie always gave us the pros and cons for every property, and we felt that she had our best interests at heart. She is intelligent, friendly, and very responsive. Her inside knowledge of DC neighborhoods allowed us to confidently make the right purchase. We would definitely use her again! Absolutely could not have asked for a better, more professional and skilled agent. "

"We would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a home in this crazy DC market! After losing on a property in Petworth in which we escalated over asking price and conducted a pre-home inspection, Valerie switched gears and quickly found another property in the same area that was in temporary-off status. She had seen this property a month earlier and had stayed in touch with the listing agent. So when our first deal fell through, Valerie was able to submit an offer on the other property without any competing bids! It is the perfect house, and we got it at a great price! We even got a discount on our owner’s title insurance policy by using the reissue rate that Valerie alerted us to. Thanks again, Valerie, for your hard work, dedication, persistence, and for always being available to answer our questions! We are so happy and are looking forward to building great memories in our new home!"

"We had a great experience working with Valerie. Valerie understood our needs and took the time to show us many homes in Glover Park, North Cleveland Park, Burleith, and Palisades. She was extremely responsive and hard-working, and was always searching for inventory. And when the inventory was tight in Glover Park, she even offered to do a mailing in the neighborhood to try to find an interested seller. Valerie was honest and always put our interests first; she gave us the pros and cons for every property and never pressured us to make an offer or escalate. She also helped us understand how to write a winning offer in a very competitive market with bidding wars. We greatly appreciated Valerie’s patience and consideration of our family’s needs, and that she got us our new home with a smooth 30-day closing! We would definitely recommend Valerie to our friends and family! "
