Born and raised in Germany, Traudel majored in Finance and Economics and minored in Art History. She worked as an investment consultant at a major bank outside of Munich and eventually moved to Ecuador. For five years Traudel worked for the Foster Parents Plan as an English to Spanish translator while raising her two children. From there, she and her family relocated to Malawi, Africa where she continued to contribute to humanitarian efforts. "We interviewed realtor agents from three different companies and decided at the end to go with Traudel Lange even though the other two offered varying discounts on the 6% agents fees. There were numerous reasons for our decision including her professionalism, warmth, and her wealth of knowledge from the many years of experience in the industry. However, the defining factor for us was her genuine appreciation of the true value of our home reflected in her suggested starting listing price which was approximately $10K and $25K above what the other two agents had quoted us. Obviously, you cannot base choosing an agent solely on who provides the highest starting listing price, but since we had not shared with Traudel what the other agents quoted us, her suggested listing price was based on how much she valued our property and the confidence she had in selling it for that price (note: for reference, the price she suggested was about $10K higher than the last home sold in our community about a year prior).
