"On our return to the West, i.e. Best, Coast from Florida several years ago, we'd scheduled a tour of Palm Springs to view listings. My wife had the initial contact established with Mr. Vaccaro, so my entering the picture was kind of "after the fact" given that my wife had already established a professional relationship in the real estate search. We'd done this quite a few times, so I was comfortable with it. Tony is quite well established in the Palm Springs market, so after viewing several of the items that he had lined up for us to tour, we ended up with a unit that was pending being listed through a colleague of his. We ultimately settled on that unit, but without it being listed, its list price hadn't been market tested, so I was more than concerned about "paying the asking price"...not my style. As it turned out, we did buy a few items from the seller, but was pleasantly surprised that he'd left way more stuff than what we'd bought, making the deal even sweeter. One of the nicest transactions we'd enjoyed over the many we've been involved with. We look forward to working with Tony again as we're contemplating returning to PS again.." - Carole Rockney & Robert Coonrad.

"Tony Vaccaro came recommended to us via some other friends who had moved to the Palm Springs area years ago, while hunting for a local agent. As first time home buyers, we felt we needed someone who could hold our hands through what we expected to be a stressful process, especially while shopping from San Jose and with the complications that COVID provided. When we found what we thought would be our forever home Tony was super responsive and jumped right to it! We were dealing with a selling agent who really didn't know the property that well, and a seller that was out of the country, so Tony really was running the show. Responses were slow from the other agent, but Tony kept driving the momentum forward for us. Even after closing, we were still negotiating the outdoor furniture purchase, which literally came down to the wire. There were many challenges, but Tony somehow kept us sane. He's a polite but savvy negotiator. Thanks for helping us find our forever home. And if we're ever back in the market, we'll be working with Tony for sure!" - Brandon Schakola and Oscar Flores.

About Tony
Before becoming a real estate broker, Tony Vaccaro, a native of the SF bay area, has a marketing and communications background having worked at Charles Schwab in San Francisco where he ran marketing initiatives targeted at high-net-worth individuals. “I always had a passion for real estate though,” he says. “So in 2001, I quit my job and moved to Los Angeles where I eventually landed a position at the California Association of Realtors where I worked for almost 10 years.”
He bought a house in Palm Springs in 2009, started living here full-time in 2012, and is currently immediate past president (2019) of the Palm Springs Regional Association of Realtors and a member of the California Desert Association of Realtors. “I fell in love with Palm Springs’ unique background and its interesting history — both with the 1950s architecture and its history as Hollywood’s playground,” he says.
“I’ve always been drawn to all things real estate,” he adds. “Beautiful homes, architecture, home improvement, homeownership — you name it. So being a real estate broker really was a perfect fit for me. It bridged my skills in marketing and communications, and my dedication to delivering an extraordinary client experience with my longstanding passion for homes.”
Through Compass, Tony brings his passion for the Coachella Valley, the real estate industry, and marketing seamlessly together.
