"Tim is superb and the best agent I have ever worked with. He was calm and low-key and driven to help us find a house. He knows the area completely and helped us not only find a home but get to know Boulder. From LA, we found the home over a long weekend and he was instrumental in helping get it closed on time. His communication was always quick and thorough, making the process much less stressful. Completely trustworthy, we had numerous discussions about various properties and his forthrightness was crucial in finding the right house at the right price with the right considerations. Completely fair, his integrity was welcome in talking about and making critical decisions. I could go on, but you hopefully get the message - Tim is great, I would most strongly recommend him to you, and we'll go back to him whenever we need a realtor. He is outstanding at helping find a home and seeing the entire process through to closing, and beyond." - John

"Tim Shea helped me to sell a condo and to buy a home. He did a great job with a very difficult real estate agent on the other side of one of the transactions. He was very low pressure yet when I asked to see a property he was ready to help me immediately. I found a great house at a great price and my condo went under contract in two days." - Beth

"Tim provided us with an incredible level of service during the entire home buying and selling process. We weren't sure of exactly what we were looking for in a new house, but Tim was patient and understanding with us through many showings. He also listened carefully to our needs/wants and was able to focus our search on houses that met our criteria...until we found the one we bought. During the purchase process, Tim's expertise was invaluable as he handled all the details and negotiation. He kept us in the loop every step of the way and it truly felt like he was fighting for us...not just doing a job. I would highly recommend Tim." - Kevin

"Tim was the voice of reason in what is surely an emotional life event for all. He kept his cool in complex scenario where we had a motivated buyer but had renters in our house who became difficult to work with. Tim was able to work out a deal for all parties involved so we did not lose our buyer - we were so thankful and relieved! He kept us apprised of all developments and we were able to bring the deal to a quick close. Tim is a master negotiator, he knows the industry well, and best of all - he keeps a great sense of humor throughout it all. I highly recommend him!" - Kerri

"As a first time home buyer in a very competitive and fast-paced market, I felt at ease working with Tim. Tim has great knowledge in the Boulder market and was always there to help put things into perspective, give me the information I needed, recommendations, and overall calmness in a market that is anything but calm.
I am now a home owner and couldn't be happier with the choice I made, the process he guided me through and the overall experience

Prior to real estate, Tim made a name for himself in both business and bike racing. In 1997, he won the Colorado State Road Cycling Championships (Category 3). He was a national sales manager at Mountainsmith, and he went on to launch and later sell a popular tax advisory business. In 2009, Tim began his real estate career at Pedal to Properties, a brokerage he purchased just three years after joining. Today, Pedal to Properties has become The Pedal Group at Compass, combining Tim's thorough, high-touch approach with Compass' best-in-class technology and nationwide reach.
Tim and his team are an invaluable resource for buyers and sellers in Boulder's high-demand market. Even keeled and patient, he's known for navigating even the most complex and stressful transactions with skill and ease. And his entrepreneurial drive and business acumen have made him an exceptional negotiator and dealmaker. It's no surprise he was recently named among the top 100 realtors in Boulder.
Tim is devoted to giving back to the local community and has served as a former board member of the Play Boulder Foundation and event director of Boulder Nites Classic. Raised in Virginia, he holds a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in history from James Madison University.
