About Tim
Tim Knauer has been a mainstay of the local North Shore community since moving to the area in 2010. An avid outdoor enthusiast and waterman, Tim enjoys all that the wonderful seaside community has to offer. He can be spotted paddle boarding and surfing with his kids off of his favorite local beach, loves to fish and day cruise from the center console he has moored in town, and enjoys skiing and hiking with friends and family. Giving back to the community is a high priority for Tim and he devotes time to serving on the executive committee of the local Little League board and coaches his children and their friends in soccer, hockey, Little League, and other sports. Having loved sports his entire life, he still plays in local adult basketball, softball, and
soccer leagues. Tim is an enthusiastic ambassador to the community and excited to help his clients make a seamless transition in the seaside community he loves so much!
Tim spent the first part of his career at a large advertising agency in Boston and later running the marketing strategy for the Tufts University annual giving program. Tim’s expertise in strategic marketing helps him reach the right target audiences in just the right ways across multiple channels including online, social media, and more traditional channels. He is also able to leverage his vast community connections to network and find opportunity in the local community. Tim later obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work and for years ran a successful private psychotherapy practice seeing adults and younger people. Tim’s strong marketing skills, coupled with his ability to really listen to and relate to people, make him an ideal partner to help clients successfully bring their home to market or find just the home they are looking for.
Tim takes his commitment to his clients, neighbors, and community with the utmost sincerity. Tim is originally from Sudbury, MA, and now resides in Swampscott with his wife Tracy, two children Max and Riley, and his mischievous seventy-pound Australian Labradoodle Tucker.
