I'm Thomas Upton, a REALTOR® with Compass serving Alpharetta, Milton, Crabapple, Roswell, Woodstock, Cumming and Canton. I've been licensed since 2010, and before that I spent 37 years running operations for UPS. That career taught me something most people don't expect from a real estate agent: when something doesn't work, you don't push harder. You find out why, and you fix the cause. That's most of what I do now. A lot of the sellers I work with have already been through a listing that didn't sell. They're frustrated, they've lost months, and nobody has given them a straight answer about what went wrong. I start there. I look at the pricing, the photography, the exposure, the showing feedback and the competition the home was up against, and I tell them what I find, even when it isn't what they hoped to hear.
For every seller, that turns into a plan. I bring in staging support so the house shows the way it should, and I cover junk removal and professional deep cleaning so you're not carrying that on top of a move.
For buyers, the same approach applies. I want to understand the life you're building, not just the bedroom count, and I'll research established neighborhoods and newer ones with the same attention to detail.
Outside of work, I've served as HOA board president for Crabapple Crossing and I give time to the United Way and to Gulf War Veterans. My clients will tell you I'm honest, I'm reachable, and I do the extra work. After 37 years of delivering for people, making sure they get home safely comes naturally.
