"Tom and Nancy Ferguson were the agents who represented our family in the sale of our mother’s house. Our situation was complex; our mother has memory issues, was very attached to her home, and lost her husband (our father) of 65 years prior to listing the house which is a good distance away from our home. Needless to say, the idea of showings, paperwork, organizing, cleaning, staging and everything else that goes along with selling a home seemed like a daunting task. Not only were Tom and Nancy highly professional, but were there to support us and our mom every step of the way. They showed incredible compassion and care in dealing with all of us and the emotional turmoil we were experiencing after the death of our father and the need for our mother to downsize and move to assisted living. Tom and Nancy made sure our mother knew exactly what was happening and supported her way more than anyone would expect real estate agents to do.
When it came to listing the house, Tom and Nancy sat down with us to come up with a great price that was fair for all involved. They made sure the open house was run in a professional manner, ensuring the house presented beautifully and that it remained clean. Any questions we had were answered promptly, communication was excellent throughout the process, and they even helped us with contact people regarding emptying the house and donating furniture and other items.
The entire process from start to finish was so much better and easier than we would have imagined. Tom and Nancy care about their clients and surpassed our expectations. Their dedication to doing the job right is why we feel so strongly about recommending Tom and Nancy to anyone who is buying or selling a home. They care about the people involved, not just the house, which is what sets them apart. No matter what came up along the way, we didn’t worry because we knew Tom and Nancy were looking out for us and had our best interest as their top priority. "

"Working with Tom was fantastic. He went above and beyond to make everything about real estate simple and easy to understand. This was greatly appreciated as a first time buyer. Communication was spot-on—I always felt in the loop. Tom made time for me whenever I needed, handling all parts of the transaction and even beyond. He was proactive in catching issues before they popped up, always putting my needs first. I couldn't have asked for a better agent. Highly recommend!"
