About Theresa
Theresa grew up in Vernon, NJ. When she turned 18 she moved to South Carolina, Seattle, and then San Diego for 7 years while completing a bachelor’s degree in business / marketing at SDSU. She made the move to Austin in 2019 to pursue real estate as a new career. Her previous background includes working as a technical recruiter and project manager at a software company.
Austin has quickly become home to Theresa and her family. She loves the South Austin vibes and the opportunity that Austin can provide to people moving from more expensive cities throughout the country. She has a passion for helping people not only find a home that they love, but also to make good investments and create generational wealth for their families.
In 3 short years since moving to Austin, she has sold over $35M in real estate in the Central Austin area. She works closely with investors, builders, and developers which gives her an extensive knowledge of off market and coming soon properties that she can share with her clients. It also provides home owners looking to sell with the option to sell off market for cash.
Theresa began Magner Homes & Investments in 2021 while renovating a property in Lockhart and another in the St. Elmo district of S. Austin. She has a passion for interior design, and has plenty of vendor contacts for all her real estate clients.
She works with amazing transaction coordinators, title reps, contractors, and knows how to utilize the Compass Concierge program to ensure her clients have a seamless transaction and as little stress as possible.
