Debbie Zolan and Jacquelynn Rossiter, founders of the Zolan Rossiter Team at Compass, are well-regarded for their industry knowledge, professionalism and sincere dedication to the needs and desires of their clients. With over 35 years combined experience, their expertise in co-op, condo, townhouse resales, on-site new development and working with buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants make them the ideal partner for any residential real estate transaction.
Working in all of New York City but with a concentrated focus on Brooklyn, Debbie and Jackie have a deep understanding of the market, financial savvy, strong negotiation skills and established relationships. They are committed to their clients and pride themselves on their attention-to-detail, quick response times and ability to close deals within a tight deadline or under challenging conditions.
The women met in 2010 when seated in adjacent offices while working at another brokerage and fast became friends and collaborators. Jackie joined Compass in 2017 and Debbie joined a year later. They are thrilled to bring their collective energy and experience to the Zolan Rossiter Team.
Debbie Zolan
Debbie, considered an expert in DUMBO, Brooklyn has sold and leased over 175 homes there. Her new development experience includes being the on-site sales manager at 51 Jay Street, a warehouse conversion in the landmarked district of DUMBO where she oversaw sales for the 75-unit building. In addition, she directed sales at 133 Water Street, also in DUMBO, sold multiple Sponsor-owned units at the Echelon in Long Island City and provided consultation on 210 Pacific Street in Cobble Hill.Prior to her foray into real estate, Debbie worked in marketing and advertising. She was the Vice President, Director of Client Services at Select Communications, a European marketing communications company where she developed brand strategies for high-end fashion, accessories and fragrance companies. She also founded a t-shirt company called Cherry Tee and ran her own marketing consultancy.
Debbie is a long time resident of DUMBO, where she lives with her husband and son along the water. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at her home in the Berkshires, skiing, exercising, cooking and traveling.
Jacquelynn Rossiter
Jacquelynn is the acknowledged University Towers sales leader. She has single-handedly sold/rented 300 + apartments at University Towers, a 547-unit complex bordering Ft. Greene and Downtown Brooklyn. Her enviable skill set includes handling complex estate sales, new development offerings, co-op rentals, sponsor apartments, and short sale negations.Jacquelynn has a huge heart that goes far beyond just providing exceptional service to her clients and customers, she is an Ambassador with the 5under40 Foundation. The 5under40 Foundation supports women diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40 through every stage of the disease by empowering their lives, helping preserve beauty and vitality, fostering hope, and strengthening survivorship. Jacquelynn is also a breast cancer 'thriver' and recently celebrated five years since the diagnosis. When Jacquelynn's not hard at work with real estate or 5under40, you might find her salsa dancing professionally, practicing yoga, or traveling the world with her beloved family.
