About Allan
Associate Broker Allan Styer delivers outstanding results backed by more than 25 years of real estate and development expertise and a genuine passion for what he does. He's an experienced and knowledgeable industry resource and a superior negotiator. Above all else, Allan believes in cultivating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel educated about the process and empowered to make the wisest decisions. As co-founders of The Styer Team at Compass, he and his wife, Colleen, specialize in elite client service and trusted advocacy for every buyer and seller.
Allan launched his real estate career in 1997 while working as an actor, documentary filmmaker and owner of a production company. He began working with a Los Angeles developer for several years before relocating to New York City as a residential agent. Allan headed his own Connecticut commercial real estate firm between 2004 and 2010, and since that time, he has specialized in residential sales throughout Larchmont and the Sound Shore area.
Allan thrives on assisting clients on each step of life's journey, from renting and the daunting first-time homebuying experience to navigating the selling, upsizing and downsizing process. "I'm always humbled by the trust bestowed upon me every time I assist in my clients' most important financial decisions," he explains. "I find immense joy and satisfaction in completing a sale and seeing the person or family cross the threshold to a brand-new life."
Scotland native Allan lived in South Africa, the U.K. and Pakistan, all before arriving in Larchmont at 16 years old. He and Colleen reside in Rye Neck with their dog, Louie. In his free time, Allan enjoys following Premier League Soccer, barbecuing and cooking spicy food.

About Colleen
As a fourth-generation Larchmont resident, Colleen Styer has a special affinity for Westchester's Sound Shore region and a passion for helping those who've chosen to make their home here. She's a genuine and caring client advocate, and she has an artistic eye that's ideal for staging properties and spotting opportunity. From the first meeting to the closing and beyond, Colleen and her husband Allan — The Styer Team at Compass — create enjoyable experiences and optimal outcomes by anticipating needs and making each client feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
Before becoming an agent, Colleen worked in a number of occupations that formed her unique and invaluable real estate skill set. As an actor, she also spent a lot of time working in restaurants, and she credits both experiences with forming her ability to listen closely, communicate clearly and deliver superior client service. Colleen was an event coordinator in the nonprofit sector and the owner of her own professional organizing business, so she offers the meticulous planning and multitasking talents critical in real estate. The through-line of Colleen's professional personal life is a love for meeting people and serving their needs with boundless empathy and creativity.
Colleen and Allan reside in Rye Neck, and they can often be found with their dog Louie at nearby Florence Park or down at Rye Beach and Playland Park. A true believer in giving back to the community, she's been a volunteer with Larchmont/Mamaroneck's aging in place organization, At Home on the Sound, for 10 years. Colleen is currently a board member for the group and is actively involved in everything from driving seniors to appointments and heading acting classes to planning the annual gala and launching educational programming.
