"Mary Premtaj and her team were recommended to us by a friend from college who made the same move from NYC to Northern NJ that we were planning. We started off our housing search not really knowing anything about what we wanted in a home or where we wanted that home to be. Mary's expertise and experience as a realtor were invaluable and shone through as she knew exactly what questions to ask and advice to give to help us figure it out for ourselves so that we were going to buy something that we would love. She listened just as well as she spoke, while helping us figure out what the right home for us would look like. Our search for a home took a little more than a year and she, along with Michele, a member of her team, always made themselves available for house tours, got us early access to open houses, gave expert advice on how to strengthen our offers in the eyes of the seller, expeditiously drafted and submitted our bids for at least seven houses, liaised with the sellers’ agents to best position our offers, and generally provided good advice and context on the process. When it was all said and done, we closed on a house that we love and are so happy to call it home to our young family. With how tough the housing market has been, we would never have thought that we would find a house that met ALL of our must-have criteria. It was a long road, but Mary saw us through to the end. After closing, Mary has continued to be a valuable resource and friend. She has given us excellent referrals for the work we wanted to do on the house since buying.
