"Excellent! This was my first time selling a home, I was reluctant to engage with any realtor. So I decided to start by looking for someone who recently sold property in my neighborhood. I found Melanie and the Compass team from a flier I received in the mail. This was the best decision I made… Upon meeting with Melanie and Kerry, I realized they were extremely professional and experienced. And they offer a Concierge service, which provides funds to use for inspections, repairs and misc, prior to the open house. The best parts include, preparing the home for sale, completion of all required documents, and the constant communication during the entire process through close. Melanie basically took over all aspects of the preparation for sale, by coordinating and scheduling all inspections, repairs and staging with a sense of urgency and thoroughness. This lessened a huge burden from me and was greatly appreciated. I can't say enough for the requirement by Melanie to complete and compile all necessary documents for the disclosure package. This ultimately allows the buyer to review a complete picture of the property in one concise packet. The best part was the constant and consistent communication from Melanie during the entire process. It was a complete collaboration between myself and Melanie. And, although all final decisions were for me to make, leveraging her expertise and experience made it easy to make necessary choices. "My partner and I met Melanie at an open house and decided to try working with her to buy our first home. Melanie invited us to her office in downtown Walnut Creek, and we were immediately impressed by her professionalism and friendliness. Melanie has an incredible depth of knowledge of different neighborhoods within the Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Concord cities (and I'm sure many others).
