About Suzie
Real estate is more than a career for Realtor® Suzie DeYoung - it's a passion fueled by enthusiasm and a commitment to extending compassion, honesty, and integrity to each of her clients. Following a dream that began when she was a teen in Greenwich, CT, Suzie transitioned from accounting to Real Estate in 2011, and promptly earned the Highest Volume Rookie Award. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from Belmont University. This education, combined with years of accounting experience and a detail-oriented personality, gives her clients a decided advantage. Suzie not only understands all the financial aspects of a sale, she's meticulous in checking every clause and detail that could affect her clients. Then she makes sure they have full understanding before signing any documents. Her affinity for numbers, combined with a strong analytical side and constant monitoring of the local real estate markets, makes her skilled in determining the true market value of a home. To date, all but one of her listings has sold for 98% or more of its listed price. She puts this same skill to use when assisting buyers in determining the value of a home they're considering. Because education is important to her, she attends numerous classes every year and has earned designations as a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR). Having been raised by her Grandparents for much of her childhood, Suzie has a great appreciation and fondness for senior citizens. In order to best serve their real estate needs, she also earned the Senior Real Estate Specialist designation (SRES). She also serves on the Education Committee of the Williamson County Association of Realtors. Suzie's own estimation of her work is that she simply does what needs to be done to protect and promote her clients' best interests. Their testimonials, however, say she does far more. A recurring theme is "Suzie goes above and beyond." That's not surprising, considering the personal satisfaction she feels when she hands a buyer the keys to their dream home or shares a home seller's excitement as they head off to life's next adventure. Her favorite non-work pastimes include eating out, attending concerts, and simply spending time with her two young children. A pet lover & dog owner, she's especially fond of German Shepherds, the loyal and loving companions who were always part of her Grandmother's family. Suzie is a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and volunteers for Davis House Child Advocacy Center. When you wish to purchase or sell a home in the Nashville and surrounding areas, call Suzie DeYoung. You'll soon know why so many of her clients have become good friends – and why they enthusiastically recommend her services.
