Believing in the importance of giving back to the real estate industry, Susan has served in many roles on various Boards of Realtors throughout his career, currently serving on the Professional Standards Committee for the Richmond Association of Realtors and the Risk Management Committee for the Virginia Realtors Association. In 2018, Susan served as President of the Richmond Association of Realtors and the Central Virginia Regional Multiple Listing Service. In 2019, Susan was the recipient of the Educator Of The Year award from the Richmond Association of Realtors.
