Susan Kerr

Susan has a 20 year + career in public relations, marketing, and non-profit management. She spent the past 10 years working with her husband in their Paul Davis Restoration franchise, serving the emergency mitigation and reconstruction needs of clients throughout Lake County, IL. Susan's experience working with homeowners through some of the most trying times they've faced in their homes, brings an unmatched level of client support to her work as a licensed broker. That's what drew her to real estate, joining Smothers Group with COMPASS in 2022.  

It's this kind of experience that has helped Susan become a top-notch communicator, strong listener and focused on the details that matter to her clients. Although a newer agent, Susan's experience makes her a natural at working hard for the needs of both buyers and sellers.

Susan grew up in a small town in the Southeast corner of Ohio (Marietta - the first settlement in the Northwest territory!) and attended college at Ohio University. She has lived in the western suburbs of Chicago (Downers Grove) for nearly 25 years. She has two children in college - one in graduate school at the Illinois Institute of Technology (Architecture), and one at Lewis University studying Forensic Science. Her husband continues work in the field of repair estimating and construction.
