"Susan Jaquet listed and sold my Father's house after he passed away. She had great ideas for ways to get the house ready for sale without spending a fortune. She priced the house perfectly. It was sold after 5 days on the market with multiple offers. It sold above the asking price and I had an easy settlement"

"Susan helped me buy my wife and I buy our first home and she was great to work with. I would highly suggest using her. Susan was able to quickly negotiate my transaction"

About Susan

As a native Washingtonian and seasoned real estate professional, I always strive to exceed my clients’ expectations. I recognize and value the trust they place in me.

I was the #1 Realtor in my office for the majority of the 31 years I was affiliated with a different firm. Now I can offer my clients the same committed service along with the power of Compass. My sales consistently have ranked in the top 1% nationwide.

I grew up on Yuma Street and attended Janney, St. Ann's School, and Immaculata Preparatory School at Tenley Circle. I fondly remember whiling away afternoons at Friendship Playground (Turtle Park) playing basketball and other sports. After college in Boston and graduate studies in France and Spain, I returned to Washington, DC and began my professional career.

I started as an Interpreter for the United States Department of Commerce assisting Customs and Immigration officials at Dulles International Airport. Subsequently, I was a Personnel Officer at the International Monetary Fund. I resigned in order to spend time at home with my firstborn. I launched my real estate career because of my interest in interior design, architecture, and helping people achieve their housing dreams. It has been an honor to serve so many friends and neighbors from Potomac to Georgetown to Capitol Hill, with a focus on Upper Northwest DC,Bethesda, and Chevy Chase.

My business has grown successfully and consistently thanks to the repeat calls from happy clients and theirreferrals to family, friends, and neighbors. It is truly an honor when clients come back to me, sometimes years later, because of their positive real estate experiences.

Outside of real estate, I take pride in giving back to the community—schools, Turtle Park, Community Council for the Homeless, and various charities.

And I still love basketball!
