"Words cannot describe what an awesome agent Sue Coughlin is! In addition to being a wonderful person, she is attentive, responsive, detail oriented and so good at what she does! Sue goes above and beyond for us and makes what could feel like an overwhelming experience (buying and selling a house) actually fun and enjoyable! Sue is the best!" - Claire and Jay

★★★★★
"As a first time home buyer Sue was always available and helpful with the many questions I had. She was never too busy to go back and show me the home one more time. Sue enabled me to have a stress-free experience with my first time home purchase." - Alex

★★★★★
"We give Sue the very highest of endorsements. Sue is hard-working, detail oriented, pleasantly persistent, responsive, honest and genuine! Sue diligently researches and shares facts to support her recommendations. Selling residences is often emotional both from the seller & buyer perspectives. Sue is uniquely aware of all the subtleties and handles them professionally and skillfully. Sue is that rare business person that truly cares (and listens) about her clients needs and wants. Sue exceeded our expectations!!!" - Gary and Lori

"When we first met with Sue Coughlin about searching for a new home and selling our current one, we knew she was the agent we wanted to work with! To say that Sue goes above and beyond would be an understatement. Sue is knowledgable, responsive, thorough, caring, kind and an all around awesome person! She took the time to understand exactly what was important to us and worked tirelessly to achieve our goals! It is hard to put into words just how wonderful Sue is at what she does, her sincere concern about others is her most valuable attribute. We are thrilled in our new home and it was so satisfying to hear that the buyers of our old home feel the same!" - Janet

★★★★★
"Sue Coughlin was a delight to work with. Professional does not begin to describe the level of attention and commitment that Mrs. Coughlin brought to our new home purchase and existing home sale. During the process of finding the unique combination of characteristics that we prioritized in a new home, and the potentially arduous process of preparing to transfer our beloved home to a new family, we realized how closely Sue listened and accommodated our needs and wants and finessed the interpersonal interactions with other agents as well as sellers/buyers. There are many professional real estate agents out there, but few (if any) who espouse the concern for honest happiness and authenticity in financial dealings that we experienced with Sue. Jaded buyers and sellers beware...she will disarm you with intelligence, dedication and genuine investment in your real estate needs. We couldn't be happier and cannot thank her enough! We were in extremely capable hands... and now we are sitting pretty by the beach in wonderful South Kingstown! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Sue Coughlin!" - Donna

About Susan
Susan moved to Rhode Island in 1993 to pursue a MA degree in Marine Affairs at the University of Rhode Island. Having grown up on Cape Cod, the ocean and beaches have always been the backdrop of her life. With a concentration in coastal zone management issues during her graduate studies, especially as they relate to land use planning, she brings a unique perspective to real estate transactions in South County RI.

After graduating from Trinity College, Susan spent the first six years of her career in a sales position. While raising her three sons here in RI, she enjoyed teaching preschool music classes and has spent over 15 years serving the South Kingstown public schools where she focused her efforts on mentoring at-risk students and continues to be active in fundraising as a board member and past President of the South Kingstown Education Foundation. She also helped manage a small employee benefits consulting firm and continues to co-own and manage a local commercial property.

Susan joined LDRE in early 2017 and combines her true passion for helping people with her love of this coastal area to serve her clients enthusiastically and effectively. She lives in Saunderstown with her husband and youngest son. She cannot imagine a life without a home base in the beautiful ocean state and looks forward to helping you find (or sell!) yours!
