"My father had been thinking of selling his home and started interacting with Steven Ellison a year-and-a-half ago. (Anyone who can tolerate my father's lovable idiosyncracies for that long is already pretty amazing.) When I first met Steven, I immediately picked up on his, for lack of a better word, goodness. "My dad needed to do a 1031 exchange and wanted to invest in a rental property on the Big Island. He was referred to Steve, and we are so grateful that we had Steve on our side. Steve answered our many, many emails in a very timely manner. He met with us via phone for really long conversations, and patiently answered all of our questions. My dad and I then made a strike mission from the mainland to view the dozens of properties we had identified. Steve had helped us narrow down our list a lot--after really listening to what my dad wanted--but we still had a long list because we wanted to rule everything out on our own. We literally saw 25 units in 2.5 days, and Steve had them all organized and planned. I can't even imagine the amount of time he must have put in to create that schedule! About Steven
Purchasing a "one-way ticket for a short vacation" has allowed Steven to call the Big Island his home for over 33 years. Shortly after his arrival, he met his wife Lauralynn. Their sons Evan and Samuel complete the family picture and asking Steven about fatherhood always brings a bright smile to his face.

A Realtor® since 1994, Steve has been a top-producing agent since 2010. He attributes this to the many referrals from his clientele as well as their repeat business. Steve truly enjoys connecting with buyers to find the perfect property. "My clients have a mental image of their family's dream home in Hawaii," Steve says.
