Raised in Barrington by a Realtor, Stephanie has practically been in training her whole life for the real estate business. Some of her early memories involve looking at houses or sitting Realtor's Tour with her mom. In 2020, she moved back to Barrington with her family after 15 years in Los Angeles, because her mom sold her a mid-century modern ranch home of her dreams. She then got her real estate license and went into the biz with her mom Pam Weinert. She brings her communication skills, creative thinking and hustle - all honed throughout her 20-year writing career- to Team Weinert & Walker. Her clients appreciate her enthusiasm, transparency, integrity and marketing skills. She is committed to going above and beyond to make the home buying and selling process a smooth and positive experience. Working with her mom has been a wonderful experience and huge opportunity. Long ago, Stephanie was a cheerleader and Pam was her coach. They've been doing the mother-daughter thing forever. And yes, it's a thing. They lean into it and their clients love it because they know how much Team Weinert & Walker cares. Stephanie received her BA with a double major in Spanish and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado at Boulder and she received her MFA in writing from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors and MRED. She also serves on the Barrington Cultural Commission as a member of the Humanities Working Group. As a writer, Stephanie is the 2019 Primus Prize Winner for her play The Madres and she is currently developing a TV project with a writing partner at Chernin Entertainment. Her plays have won multiple awards and have been produced all over the world. She brings her writing skills and storyteller's eye to the real estate business with a fresh perspective that sells!
