About Stephanie

I have been involved in numerous real estate transactions in the Greater Seattle area over the last 19 years. I take immense pride in guiding our clients through the process of buying or selling their home, always providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the local market while delivering a high level of service, and most importantly being their trusted advocate and negotiator. One of my greatest strengths is providing a calming presence to clients which is key when it comes to helping them navigate their sale or purchase.

Born and raised in the Seattle area, I am proud to call myself a true Seattleite! I have attended both public and private schools in and around Seattle and received a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University after spending three years at the University of San Francisco. Post-graduation, I returned to Seattle, working in both retail and technology honing my skills in delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

My initial interest in real estate started soon after I married my husband, Matt. Together we bought our first home in 1999 and spent whatever "free" time we had building sweat equity with the help of Matt's general contractor background. In a matter of five years, we had purchased and sold three homes, each time learning from the experiences, which developed into a calling for a career in real estate. In 2005, I obtained my broker license and I continue to love helping others realize their real estate dreams. In 2019, Matt and I combined our professional talents and created our own real estate team at Compass. Our breadth of knowledge and experience in both real estate and construction is incredibly unique in our industry and sets the stage for our clients’ successes.

I have watched Seattle grow from a small city to a now bustling, metropolitan, international community. This explosive growth has created a challenging market due to a large buyer pool and a lack of inventory, a forever constant in residential real estate in Seattle. This is why I believe that it is so important to work with an agent who knows local neighborhoods and schools, transportation, commute times, and current market trends. I have been complemented on out of box thinking and creativity, deftly navigating clients and providing options and solutions to even the most challenging scenarios. When it comes time to review contracts, I am a keen negotiator, advocate, and I understand everything that a real estate transaction entails.

When I am not helping others do the important work of selling or buying real estate, I enjoy time outside, exercising, trying to copy recipes I find on social media, and mostly I love spending time with my family and friends, and my French bulldog, Felix.
