"We met Sonal couple of years ago via a friends referral. We had previously worked with a couple other brokers in the home search process but none were as proactive and responsive as Sonal.
BUYING
We started casually looking at some properties with Sonal. She would give helpful tips about pros and cons of each house and location. She put no pressure about home buying and spent over a year trying to find the right place. Once we found our dream home she was on top of her game following up with the selling agents and getting as much information as possible about the home and neighborhood. We felt confident through the entire process. We always felt that she was being honest and thoughtful with us. Even after we bought our house and moved in, she was still there for us! Answering random questions and providing recommendations. Once we put our offer in, she was there to aggressively and strategically negotiate on our behalf. Being overly aggressive can work against you as potential buyers, and she knew just where to draw the line. SELLING
One of the best features of Sonal is how thorough she is with sellers Documentation. Being part of Compass she has access to vast resources about selling. Sonal helped us with the home staging. She assembled her team of painters, cleaners and carpenters to get the home ready for open house within record time. If she wasn't answering our questions in person she was texting or calling us immediately. When we had some minor issues with the house that needing fixing once we were all moved in, she was back making phone calls on our behalf to the sellers, ensuring we were 100% happy with everything. For open house she arranged for a white glove service. She thoroughly followed up with all the buying agents and negotiated the best price."

To begin, it’s important for us to recognize an important fact: We were not easy clients--We wanted to stretch our dollar far more than the market allowed. "Sonal came to the rescue for us in the competitive real estate market of early 2018. By the time we met Sonal, we had been scouring the market for months and had made several bids with an independent realtor, each time well above asking price, and yet each time failing to secure the house we wanted. We met Sonal at an open house and, although we didn’t bid on that property, we were impressed with her expertise and advice, and when our other realtor became unresponsive, we set up a meeting with Sonal. She took the time to really inquire about what kind of properties interested us and walked us through the steps that were necessary to prepare competitive offers in the peninsula market. She advised us to change our pre-approval from a lesser-known online mortgage lender to a reputable local bank, and was always available show us houses that interested us, whenever possible on a same-day basis.
