About Sloan
Sloan Yorek grew up in, and graduated from, Aledo ISD. After graduating from UNT with a degree in Criminal Psychology, she worked in Finance and Investments, specializing in Wealth Management, for 10 years. She knew early on that sitting behind a desk working on spreadsheets just didn’t resonate with her and wasn’t aligned with her personality.
In 2007 she got her real estate license and signed on with family-owned and run Brants Realtors in Fort Worth. Not one to company hop, she worked with that firm through a merger with a larger, more corporate entity. She later found a better fit and feel and joined Christies International Real Estate- who has since merged with Compass RE Texas LLC. Sloan has been there, rock solid, through it all.
Sloan’s 17+ years of real estate experience helps her provide guidance to buyers and sellers on navigating the industry, even through market ups and downs, crashes and triumphs. Above all these factors, however, it is her integrity, experience, personality, and drive that set her apart from other agents. “I don’t work traditional hours”, she explains. “I’ve shown houses on Christmas Eve, Christmas day/night, and other unorthodox times. Whatever it takes. I work 365 days a year and if it takes 20 hours a day to get it done, then I work 20 hours a day”.
At the end of the day, Sloan’s favorite part of the real estate process is that moment when a client finally gets what they want, and she sees ‘that smile’. “Seeing the happiness and joy on a client’s face, that moment is THE BEST and most rewarding feeling. That smile and the friendships that are forged along the way. I wouldn’t trade for it.”
