About Simone
Simone Weissman's creativity, determination, and ability to get the job done perfectly are critical to your success in buying, selling or renting your home. By paying close attention to your needs and the many details throughout your transaction, she ensures that the experience is fruitful and comfortable for every client. With levity and grace, Simone welcomes the challenges of finding the perfect fit for your needs.
A natural "connector," Simone's facility when uncovering the best properties for her clients goes hand in hand with forging strong relationships between people. She patiently takes time to get to know them and evaluate their needs, bringing a positive attitude and a sense of humor to an often stressful process. She is honest, straightforward and not easily flummoxed. Simone's emotionally generous and charismatic personality makes the complexities of the real estate journey seem much less daunting.
Working with broker extraordinaire Debra Kameros of The Debra Kameros Team, Simone is supported with unparalleled expertise and resources. The relationship extends beyond the end of the collaborative process. Simone maintains an ever-growing list resources for her clients, from painters and florists to home organizers and in-home pet groomers.
Prior to joining Compass, Simone spent three years at Douglas Elliman as a member the Debra Kameros Team. Before her career in real estate Simone owned a graphic design business, focusing on non-profit organizations, whose print projects provided many challenges. This experience translates well to working in real estate—solving a different kind of puzzle of matching client with property. Simone understands your desires and requirements, and with an eye for architecture and design, she is able to visualize the hidden possibilities in every property.
A native New Yorker and a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, Simone studied architecture and graphic design at Syracuse University. She still does pro bono work for several nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about the architecture and history of New York City, and loves sharing her finds throughout the city. Simone is on the Board of Directors of her Block Association as well as the Board of Directors of an organic farm's CSA, and volunteers at a homeless shelter with her husband and children. She enjoys spending time in Fire Island with family and friends and loves to travel. Simone is a longtime resident of Chelsea and the mother of two delightful adult children.
