About Gilbert Simrall
Simrall “Sim” Meem is a seasoned real estate professional and native New Yorker
with a multifaceted background in marketing and a deep understanding of the New
York City market. After earning his bachelor’s degree in political science from
Dickinson College, Sim launched his career at McCann Erickson in New York City.
He then joined A&E Television before moving to Blair Television in Los Angeles.
Returning to New York, Sim joined Stribling & Associates, now Compass, where he
has excelled in delivering an exceptional client experience.
Sim has successfully represented both buyers and sellers, providing personalized
expertise tailored to each client’s goals. For buyers, he draws on his intimate
knowledge of New York’s neighborhoods, pricing trends, and property types, helping
clients find homes that align perfectly with their needs. Beyond simply locating
properties, Sim educates clients on market conditions, negotiates favorable terms,
and assists with co-op or condo board applications to ensure seamless transactions.
When representing sellers, Sim applies his marketing acumen to craft targeted
strategies that maximize property exposure. He frequently lists and sells in prime
neighborhoods across the city, including the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, West
Village, Battery Park, and Gramercy Park. Notable transactions on the Upper East
Side include high-profile sales such as a $35 million property at 765 Park Avenue and a
$6.7 million property at 850 Park Avenue. His marketing strategies leverage digital
exposure, professional staging, and photography to attract competitive offers, while
he meticulously oversees pricing and negotiation to achieve optimal results.
Known for his personable approach and dedication to client satisfaction, Sim ensures
that each client feels valued and informed throughout their journey. Outside of real
estate, he is an avid skier and runner who enjoys classic films and spending time with
his family in their Upper East Side home.
